What was your title and primary responsibilities?
Field Intern- Main objective is to broaden oilfield knowledge focusing on frac operations and oilfield chemistry. Focus points are biocides, friction reducers and scale inhibitors.

What has been/was the most rewarding part of your internship? What have you learned?
The most rewarding part of my internship so far is gaining relationships with customers and co-workers learning the oil and gas industry in depth. Field operations- learning stimulation process from ordering chemicals to rigging up on site to actual well stimulation.

How has your internship prepared you for entering the job market?
I feel this internship has prepared me by gaining real field experience by talking with engineers and company men to pumping chemicals down hole which has put me in to a position to understand what it is like to be in the field and also see the business side of operations.

What advice/tips do you have for other students looking to get an internship?
I would say a good tip I would have is be personable, and put yourself in the shoes of the men and women who do this everyday and learn as much as you possibly can because it can only benefit you for the better.

What do you wish you knew before interning that you would like to share with other students?
Attitude is everything if you come in with a good attitude ready to learn you will have the best summer internship that you could imagine.

Would you recommend other students complete an internship? Why or why not?
I would highly recommend getting an internship I have learned so much and feel that I have a great amount of oilfield knowledge that I can transfer to many situations.
