Mineral scale deposition occurs from the mixing of incompatible waters that are produced along with the hydrocarbons as well as changes in temperature and/or pressure. Left untreated, scale deposits can lead to pipeline plugging resulting in serious and costly production and equipment related problems. Blend of mild organic acids and surfactants designed for the cleanup of oil and gas pipelines and surface equipment. This product has proven to be effective in dissolving iron oxides, iron sulfide and carbonate scales. It is commonly used to clean pipeline surfaces to ensure flow assurance and maintain throughput.
