Cosmetic Fluids are silicone compounds containing various combinations of elastomers in a variety of diluents. These products vary in viscosity, feel, shine, lubricity, and water resistance. Grades of Cosmetic Fluids are based on solids, diluents, and elastomer derivatives. These variations give a wide range of characteristics when formulating products.
Cosmetic Fluid has become a popular starting point for hair treatment serums products such as shine, thermal protection, anti-frizz, and color protection products. Also can be used in gel, cream and lotion products to provide superior rub-in aesthetics and an excellent long-lasting feel. They can also be used as excellent skin lubricants due to their “non-greasy feel”. They perform well in conditioners, sun products, antiperspirants, creams, and lotions.

A popular ingredient for dry skin in daily care and sun care protection. High viscosity skin emollient widely used in skin slip application. Smooth feeling and non-tacky.
Dimethicone
Cosmetic Fluid 1406-DM contains a high molecular weight dimethicone elastomer with a low viscosity dimethicone fluid. It is an excellent emollient with skin-protecting properties and offers water resistance to skin lotions and creams. This product is a cyclic free compound.

Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol
A silicone skin emollient with water resistance properties. Smooth application. Can be incorporated in sunscreens for added water resistance and dry skin reduction.
Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone

1486-DM contains high molecular Dimethicone Gum delivered in Cyclopentasoloxane. This high solid, high viscosity cosmetic fluid is excellent for hair care. This product adds silky softness to hair, improves water repellency, improves spreadability, provides lubricity, and adds shine to hair products.

Widely used cosmetic fluid. Excellent in hair, treatment serums, shine products and hair conditioners.
Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol
A unique blend of ultra-high viscosity fluid in a dimethicone base. Improves substantivity and aesthetics of emulsions, gels, emollients and sticks. Excellent skin lubricant. Used in a wide range of skin care applications.
Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone
Lubricious, non-greasy silicone serum base. Excellent skin lubricity without tackiness.
