Innospec Volasil^® fluids are low viscosity cyclic silicones and polydimethylsiloxanes. These products are commonly used in a variety of personal care formulations due to their volatility, non-greasy feel, spreadability and solvency. The volatility and after-feel of these raw materials enable use in almost any application.

Volasil^® DM-0.65

Disiloxane

Volasil^® DM-0.65 silicone fluid is a low viscosity (0.65 cSt), highly volatile, linear fluid that can be used in many personal care and cosmetic applications including hair care, skincare, body care, intimate care, and color cosmetics. Provides excellent spreading and volatility characteristics to personal care formulations.

Volasil^® DM-1

Trisiloxane

Volasil^® DM-1.0 silicone fluid is a low viscosity (1 cSt), highly volatile, linear fluid that can be used in many personal care and cosmetic applications including hair care, skincare, body care, intimate care, and color cosmetics. It has a viscosity of 1.0 cs.  Provides excellent spreading and volatility characteristics to personal care formulations.

Volasil^® DM-1.5

Dimethicone

Volasil^® DM-1.5 silicone fluid is a low viscosity (1.5 cSt), medium volatility, linear fluid that can be used in many personal care and cosmetic applications including hair care, skincare, body care, intimate care, and color cosmetics. Provides excellent spreading and volatility characteristics to personal care formulations.

Volasil^® DM-2

Dimethicone

Volasil^® DM-2 silicone fluid is a low viscosity, low volatility, linear fluid that can be used in many personal care and cosmetic applications including hair care, skin care, body care, intimate care, and color cosmetics. Provides excellent spreading and volatility characteristics to personal care formulations.

Volasil^® 990

Cyclopentasiloxane

Volasil^® 990 has a guaranteed purity of 99.9% or greater pure cyclopentasiloxane suitable for use in a wide range of cosmetics and skincare products where a low cyclotetrasiloxane material is critical.

Volasil^® 995

Cyclopentasiloxane

Volasil^® 995 is a volatile, low viscosity silicone fluid comprised mainly of cyclopentasiloxane. It is clear, odorless and non-greasy. This product can be used as a base fluid in a number of personal care products while providing excellent spreading and lubrication properties.

Volasil^® 996

Cyclohexasiloxane (and) Cyclopentasiloxane

Volasil^® 996 is a volatile silicone fluid comprised mainly of cyclohexasiloxane. It is clear, odorless, and non-greasy. Extends playtime and can be used as a base fluid in a number of personal care products, while providing excellent spreading and lubrication properties.

Volasil^® 7525

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Cyclohexasiloxane

Volasil^® 7525 is a volatile carrier, compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients. The mixture of cyclic volatile silicones produces a very low surface tension level, providing excellent spreading, easy rub-out, and functional lubrication. Excellent compatibility with most waxes, hydrocarbons, esters, oils, and other silicone products.

Volasil^® 8515

Volasil^® 8515 is a mixture of volatile and cyclic silicones. It adds silky softness and shine to hair formulations, improves spreadability, and provides lubricity to hair formulations. This product is suitable for hair care, skincare, and cosmetic applications.
