Toxicological Information
CNI toxicological information covers four key health effects
Acute
Ingestion hazard – is low therefore CNI not classified as harmful or toxic if swallowed (aspiration into the lung will be a problem)
Inhalation – may lead to throbbing headaches, confusion and possible loss of consciousness
Dermal – absorption through skin can lead to throbbing headaches, confusion and loss of consciousness
Corrosivity/Irritation
Skin – not a primary irritant, but may cause temporary discomfort in fuel packages
Eyes – not a primary irritant but may cause temporary discomfort
