Dimethisil® HNH fluids are cationic hindered amine silicone fluids. These unique silicone raw materials are compatible with anionic surfactants and have an excellent toxicity profile for personal care applications. Innospec offers this unique functional ingredient in low, medium and high viscosities and varying cationic strengths.

Dimethisil® HNH-LV

Propoxytetramethyl Piperidinyl Dimethicone

Dimethisil® HNH-LV is a low viscosity functionalized dimethyl fluid made using hindered amine and contains the highest amine content of the HNH product family. The introduction of amine functionality into a dimethyl silicone creates a cationic, substantive raw material. This modification enhances the molecules’ ability to form ionic bonds with keratinaceous substrates. Readily incorporated into clear surfactant cleansing systems without the need for elaborate emulsification or stabilization systems. This unique raw material has an excellent toxicity profile.

 

DIMETHISIL® HNH-MV

Propoxytetramethyl Piperidinyl Dimethicone

A unique cationic modified silicone fluid that improves wet and dry combing and adds softness to hair.

Dimethisil® HNH-HV is a high viscosity functionalized dimethyl fluid containing a high hindered amine content. The introduction of amine functionality into a dimethyl silicone creates a cationic, substantive raw material. This modification enhances the molecules’ ability to form ionic bonds with keratinaceous substrates. Provides excellent hair wet and dry combability at low use levels and provides excellent frizz control at high use levels. This unique raw material has an excellent toxicity profile.
