Silicone Gelling Agents (viscosity modifiers) are silicone compounds formulated specifically for increasing the viscosity of serums and silicone phases that are used in a variety of hair and skin treatment products. Gelaid® fluids can be used to formulate clear to translucent gels for a wide variety of applications.

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone (and) Phenyl Trimethicone
Used to thicken anhydrous serums and sprays and can also is used as an aesthetic modifier in hair conditioners and skin care creams and lotions. Contains less than 0.1% of cyclotetrasiloxane. Cyclotetrasiloxane free version of Gelaid® 5565.
Cyclomethicone (and) Dimethicone (and) Phenyl Trimethicone
Used to thicken anhydrous serums and sprays and can also is used as an aesthetic modifier in hair conditioners and skin care creams and lotions.
Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone
Used as a base for hair shine products or micro-emulsion gel laminators. High solids shine serum. Volatile carrier fluid provides quick volatility.
Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone (and) Phenyl Trimethicone
Specifically designed gelling ingredient for formulating clear refractive index products. Provides high gloss and heat protection for non-chemical hair straighteners.
Dimethicone (and) Phenyl Trimethicone
Cyclic-free formulated product specifically designed for making clear refractive index gel products. It provides high gloss and protection to the hair from thermal treatments such as blow drying.

Formulation aid used to create luxurious Silicone-in-Water creams and lotions. Specifically developed for cold mix process. Multi-phasic properties permit the incorporation of both functional oil and water-based active ingredients.
