Dry Friction Reducers

Friction reducers help to achieve the pump rates necessary for proppant transport and to obtain suitable fracture geometries in stimulation applications. Recently, dry friction reducers have also increased performance and operational efficiencies at a lowercost. Innospec Oilfield Services has formulated a cost-effective, dry FR and coupled with its’ dry blend field unit, it also simplifies operational mixing on location.

HiRate D Series

Innospec’s HiRate D Series are composed of dry, fine, and ultra-fine grind polyacrylamide friction reducers for use in fresh water to heavy brines. This product also works at higher loadings as a viscosifying agent in fresh water applications. Product is mixed on site using IOS’s Dry Blend Field Unit, then pumped as a concentrate.
